The Echo SRM-225 is a 21.2cc 2-stroke straight-shaft trimmer and one of the most widely used commercial trimmers in North America, standard equipment on landscaping crews across the US. Despite modest displacement, the SRM-225 delivers reliable power for production grass and light brush trimming and is known for durability under daily commercial conditions. It runs a Zama carburetor. Under commercial use, monthly fuel system service (primer bulb, filter, lines) and seasonal spark plug replacement are routine. The SRM-225's dominance in the landscaping market means large aftermarket parts availability from multiple suppliers.
